Position Summary:
Responsible for providing cultural competent psychiatric evaluation, medication management, consultation, collaboration and training for adolescents, adults and their families with a myriad of complex issues to include behavioral health concerns, impoverishment, living with HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ, and other medical needs. Services provided for clients/families referred to Family Service of Rhode Island. Provide after-hour support for assigned clients through the organization's on-call system.

Qualifications:

• Current valid license to practice in Rhode Island.
• Current DEA Certificate & Number.
• Current Board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Clinical Specialist in Adult and/or Child and Adolescent Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, or as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• PCNS license preferred.
• Cultural competency.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Computer knowledge for documentation in client records.
• Valid Drivers license.
