With a “Hands-On” approach, manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, billing and collections

Oversee all accounting aspects for the organization including:

Cash management including cash receipts and third-partybilling (Medicaid & MLTC)

Accounts receivable

Accounts payable

Rep Payee accounts

Maintain general ledger and subsidiary ledgers for accounts receivable and accounts payable and maintain supplier/vendor files

Prepare annual organization budget

Prepare monthly financial statements to review with CEO, operations leadership, and board of directors

P&L’s

Cashflow statements

Balance sheets

Budget to actuals

Ensure accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports are accurate, complete, and conform to standards defined within the organization and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Coordinate the preparation and provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.

Analyze financial trends and make strategic recommendations to organizational leadership

Work closely with the leadership team to facilitate efficient and effective business planning and initiative implementation.

Research, prepare and execute finance department initiatives such as software and systems implementation, as required
