Water is critical to the success of our agricultural community and at Farm Pump we support our customers by providing the necessary water they need through well & pump installations, service, and repair.
The Role:
Farm Pump is growing and expanding our team! We are seeking an experienced Deep Well Pump Installer who will be responsible for installing and removing deep set turbine, submersible and domestic pump systems. This person will lead a crew of 1 -2 helpers and may interact with customers while on the job location. In addition, this person should have good mechanical aptitude, ability to perform heavy lifting, and desire to work both indoors and outdoors.
What you bring to the table:
- Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in new installation, as well as, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling submersible, jet, line shaft turbine, and horizontal booster pumps
- Detailed knowledge of different types of pumping equipment used in residential, commercial, and municipal water systems
- Knowledge of electrical controls associated with pump systems, water storage tanks and piping; bonus points for water treatment equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot components, as needed
- Direct or indirect leadership of a small team desired, not required
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, during the busy season or for customer water system emergencies
- Valid driver’s license (commercial driver’s license preferred) and ability to successfully pass all post offer screens, including MVR (clean driving record required), physical (ability to lift weights in excess of 50 lbs) and drug screen

Compensation:
The anticipated hourly pay for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on several factors, including, years of experience and related skills.
