Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care and will have experience in various dental procedures. Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Execute a variety of dental procedures including, but not limited to, dental extractions, fillings, and preventive care.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose and plan treatment effectively.
- Implement aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and infection control.
- Provide four-handed dentistry support during procedures to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software and ensure all medical terminology is correctly applied.
- Deliver exceptional patient care by addressing concerns, educating patients on oral health, and providing follow-up care as necessary.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide a seamless patient experience.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry, particularly in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry practices.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and familiarity with Dentrix software is preferred.
- Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
