Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Recovery Services Coordinator to help lead and oversee a team of Recovery Peer Advocates. This role is vital in designing, supervising, and evaluating recovery programs while providing support to staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor Recovery Peer Advocates, ensuring delivery of high-quality, person-centered support.
- Program Development: Collaborate with management to enhance peer support programs aligned with the organization’s mission.
- Supervision: Provide guidance to peer advocates, fostering professional growth and adherence to best practices.
- Wellness Planning: Support the creation of individualized wellness plans for clients.
- Data-Driven Improvement: Track program performance using data to inform improvements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build relationships with community organizations and stakeholders to strengthen recovery efforts.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to recovery.
- Liaison with Family Court and local Department of Social Services.
Skills and Abilities
- In-depth understanding of peer support principles and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy and respect for individuals on their recovery journeys.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with Qualified Health Professional Status (CASAC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC etc.) required, master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years postgraduation professional experience in program administration and behavioral health services.
- New York State driver’s license required.
- OASAS Supervisory Training preferred.
- Peer Supervisory Training preferred.
- One-year Supervisory experience required or a combination or experience, training, licensing, certification, and specialized training.
Salary : $26 - $27
