Purpose of this position:

The primary purpose of the position is to provide leadership and guidance to the work of the warehouse.

Major Duties:

• Oversee training, cross training, and development of operation related employees
• Oversee Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and standardization of processes and procedures
• Communication and liaison between Divisions, branches, corporate departments, sales, and customers
• Ensure mix and quantity of inventory meets customer demands
• Ensure facilities and related equipment are maintained and in safe working condition
• Screen, secure, discipline, and dismiss employees as needed in conjunction with Corporate Human Resource department
• Discuss workloads and shifts with supervisors
• Purchase shop related supplies as related

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED. A college degree, or advanced courses in manufacturing or engineering preferred
• Previous supervision/management, coaching, training, and counseling required
• Prior warehouse experience such as: crane operation, metal processing and material handling equipment experience required
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively schedule workflow
• Ability to perform tasks on personnel computer, including e-mail, word processing, and spreadsheets
• Knowledge of safety, and OSHA regulations required
