What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Manager position at Favor Hospice Care?
Coordinate systems and procedures with medical records, data entry, claims review, and personnel and human resource functions to ensure efficient and compliant billing and payroll operations.
- Ensure continuous coverage in all administrative areas through appropriate office duties included but not limited to:
1. Building/Breaking down charts including (basic chart audits for orders, medical records, medications as needed)
2. Reviewing Employee records and ensuring they are updated.
3. Ordering Supplies and organization of supply room (within 5-10 pounds, anything heavier will be a two-person attempt).
4. Record keeping of staff and patient charts via EMR system.
5. Emailing staff of any changes/updates as indicated by management
6. Answering phone and relaying messages to the appropriate staff members
- Ensure appropriate orientation for all new staff is completed in a timely fashion.

- Accountable for ensuring compliance with all new and current employee documentation required by Human Resources and regulatory agencies for maintaining employment within the organization including, but not limited to, I9 compliance, professional licensure, background checks and all other documents related to employment.
- Maintain an ongoing evaluation of space, supplies and equipment needs for the care center
- Directly communicate with the IT Department regarding system problems, repairs, and troubleshooting as needed.
