Parts Counter Sales / Service Writer (Parts Experience a Plus)

We are looking to fill a full-time parts sales / service writer position here at FB Trailers. This position will assist customers in selecting and purchasing various types of parts and accessories as well as checking in service appointments and noting customer needs on service tickets. Salary is based on experience.

Position Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers as they shop for trailer parts and accessories
• Suggest applicable accessories or upgrades to help customers walk out the door with everything they need or want
• Completes special order parts requests for any parts that need to be ordered for the customer
• Check in customers for service appointments and notate repairs or services needed on repair ticket.
• Communicates with customer on the status of any parts ordered and notifies them upon delivery to the dealership
• Assist other team members with transactions when necessary
• The ability to multi task is key because we assist customers, in person, by phone, and email daily.
• Place orders for stocking parts inventory
• check in and put away parts/ accessories/ tire orders

Employment Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, college a plus
• Experience with auto parts, RV parts, or other mechanical related parts sales preferred
• Have strong motivational skills and ability to work independently and with others
• Professional appearance and demeanor necessary
• Provide excellent customer service by displaying enthusiasm and strong communication skills
• Moderate computer skills (communicate with customers via email, enter customer and unit sale information, post inventory and images to necessary classified sites and advertising sites, Word and Excel experience is a plus)
• People focused and strives to provide great customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 43 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• No weekends
