FCC Commercial Furniture, located in Roseburg, Oregon, is seeking a highly skilled manager to join our management team. We're looking for a visionary leader who can effectively manage and coordinate multiple projects across diverse teams. Your primary responsibilities will include developing efficient manufacturing processes, creating innovative new products, executing strategic plans, and ensuring the timely completion of projects through our engineering teams. A deep understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, equipment, and facility development is crucial.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Oversee the engineering team, assigning and managing projects to ensure efficient execution.
- Innovation: Lead and inspire the team in developing innovative new products, solutions, and processes.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to foster the professional growth of the engineering team.
- Research and Development: Drive innovation through research and development projects, leading to new designs, products, and processes.
- Manufacturing Excellence: Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop and implement strategies that improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Cost Management: Oversee the costing of new products by developing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Routers for our ERP System.
- Facility Optimization: Assist in facility layout, equipment selection, and installation to optimize production processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience management experience
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Strong understanding and application of Servant Leadership
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with project management and continuous improvement methodologies including Lean, TQM, PDCA, 5S, Six Sigma
- Strong Software Experience with ERP, Solid Works, AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
