Position Summary:
The Mortgage Asset Management Supervisor will play a vital role within FCI managing an assigned portfolio of securitized loans requiring heightened surveillance and risk mitigation oversight. The Mortgage Asset Management Supervisor will be responsible for managing communication to internal and external stakeholders including lenders, borrowers, and vendors. They will be responsible for performing duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the Asset Management platform. This position will report to a Senior Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Management of the asset management staff including hiring, training, and performance tracking
· Execute and/or correct any document / instrument to assign or endorse any mortgage, deed of trust, promissory note, or other loan related instrument
· Complete and execute lost note affidavits or other lost document affidavits related to loans
· Manage title requests and instructions
· Review and take appropriate steps to address any titles issues that may arise in processing a mortgage servicing request
· Manage full foreclosure process from initial notice to final possession stage
· Conduct eviction and/or similar dispossessory proceedings
· Execute required documents in connection with any bankruptcy
· Execute required documents to file claims with insurers
· Assign, convey, accept, and/or otherwise transfer the interest in any mortgaged property
Education and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or equivalent work experience
· Minimum of 10 years' Loan Servicing/Operations experience in a supervisory role
· Thorough knowledge of securitization servicer and reporting requirements
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
· Proficient MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook)
· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· Capability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
