About the Role:
As a Packaging Engineer at Feastables, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of innovative and sustainable packaging solutions that align with our brand values and meet our product requirements. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless integration of packaging solutions into our product launches and supply chain processes. We're looking for an expert with strong technical skills, a deep understanding of packaging materials and processes, and a passion for design and creativity.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and implement packaging solutions that meet product requirements, enhance customer experiences, and align with Feastables' brand values.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on packaging objectives and integrate packaging solutions into product launches and supply chain processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in packaging cost, functionality, and sustainability.
- Advocate for and lead sustainability initiatives within packaging, driving innovative practices and materials that reduce our environmental footprint.
- Conduct packaging tests and analyses to validate performance and ensure product protection.
- Support the development and implementation of packaging specifications, standards, and guidelines.
Recipe for Success:
- 2 years of experience in packaging engineering roles, preferably in the food or CPG industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful packaging solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and testing methodologies.
- Experience working on in store displays, seasonal displays and/or club displays.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Proficient in ArtiosCAD and TOPS.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Prior startup experience is a plus.
