Objective:
Airline service provider seeking courteous, self-motivated and highly dependable individuals capable of providing a SAFE and SECURE work environment under stressful situations and rigid time constraints.
Description:
Cabin Grooming Supervisors are responsible for managing and assisting the cabin grooming crew to ensure that our high standards of grooming are maintained.
Location: Tampa International Airport (TPA)
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Three years' progressive supervisory experience desired
Experience with ramp procedures and cabin cleaning commercial aircraft desired
Knowledge of applicable FAA regulations, including standard security program, OSHA regulations desired
Possess a valid driver's license and have maintained a safe driving record
Able to read, write and speak the English language effectively
Successfully complete a ten (10) year background investigation including criminal history, FBI fingerprinting and pre-employment drug screening
Authorized to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigration Act of 1986
Job Requirements:
Required to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays
Able to lift 70 lbs comfortably
Capable of bending, kneeling, crawling and stooping often
Must be detailed oriented
Able to work independently and within a team environment in cramped areas
Effective communication skills
Friendly and courteous demeanor
Able to operate within expected timelines
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage staff to deliver excellent service
Report irregularities and take appropriate action when needed
Conduct daily shift briefings
Conduct safety meetings
Responsible for maintaining a SAFE and SECURE cabin environment at all times
Compliance of all Safety procedures as designated by the Air Carrier, Station, and other entities
Ensure all employees are complaint with grooming and uniforms standards by performing required grooming and uniform audits
Monitor the interior of the aircraft; confirming that vacuuming the floor, picking up trash, cleaning lavatories, replacing headrests and pillow covers, folding blankets, refilling seat pockets with magazines and safety information has been done efficiently
Guides and directs employees in effective execution of the their duties and responsibilities
Maintain communication with Operations, Flight Crew, Passenger Service and other ground personnel
Other duties as assigned.
