Job Description: Position Description: Designs and builds mobile solutions, and develops iOS apps using Swift 3/4, SwiftUI, and Objective-C. Creates technical designs and implements solutions in an Agile environment. Designs, builds, and deploys applications in a DevOps environment using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools. Defines architectural strategies and solutions. Develops applications utilizing iOS design patterns including MVP, MVC, MVVM, and VIPER with a focus on Test Driven Development (TDD). Collaborates with application owners, architecture, and business sponsor. Ensures designs meet performance, security, usability, reliability, and scalability requirements. Writes source code, adapts existing components, and unit testing developed components. Develops software applications. Adheres to architecture standards. Primary Responsibilities: Develops applications of moderately complex scope. Provides application support by diagnosing and resolving technical problems with minimal business impact. Performs unit and integration testing. Develops clear and concise documents of moderately complex scope. Performs post-installation tests to identify and resolve technical problems. Develops technical modules in support of moderately complex assignments or multiple phases of highly complex projects; and performs technical and functional analysis for projects of moderately complex scope. Modifies software to correct errors, to allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within constraints. Develops software system tests and validation procedures, programs, and documentation. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Mobile Developer (or closely related occupation) implementing development tasks and developing iOS applications using Swift. Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Mobile Developer (or closely related occupation) implementing development tasks and developing iOS applications using Swift. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) performing TDD and automated testing, using native platform testing frameworks (XCTest and XCUITest); building and maintaining mobile applications using Xcode; and writing fully automated and high-quality tests for all aspects of the code to establish full code coverage. DE performing mobile specific DevOps Tasks using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools -- Azure DevOps and Jenkins; building automated pipelines using FastLane, Shell Scripting, Xcode Command Line, and Build System; and defining build configurations and automating application bundling processes using XCConfigs. DE analyzing, designing, and developing mobile iOS applications, using Apple’s Swift Programming Language, XCode IDE, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Combine frameworks in an enterprise environment.
