We are currently seeking a Partner Relationship Manager possessing the following skills
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Focuses on delivering value to the customer at every point of contact.
- Possesses an advanced level of understanding of company products and services.
- Travels regularly to client locations, often overnight, up to 50-60% of the time.
- This role will work primarily in the Midwest region
- Monitors client needs and communicates market trends, company products and services to assist in sales objectives.
- Assists Territory Managers with sales presentations to existing accounts, when needed.
- Attends and coordinates trade shows.
- Organizes User Group Meetings and compiles information per the strategic direction of Marketing.
- Works to understand customer needs, channels needs and competitive activity, while specifying market requirements and identifying innovative solutions.
- Utilizes the system of LERS. Listens to the customer, empathizes to the customer's concern, responds with a plan and solves the problem.
- Assists with bid responses and writes contracts according to established guidelines and procedures. Only uses approved contract templates and does not alter contract language without prior approval.
- Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to client needs.
- Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.
- Is able to present effectively and confidently to audiences, large and small.
- Updates salesforce.com accurately and regularly. This includes but is not limited to touchpoint entry/analysis and pipeline maintenance.
- Uses salesforce.com to THEIR benefit.
- Maintains a dashboard and meets with Supervisor on a monthly basis to deliver THEIR interpretation of the data.
- Contributes as a team member within the sales team environment.
- Emphasizes within themselves the need for continuing personal enrichment. This can include attending sales focused seminars, self-help books, peer group discussions, etc.
- Other duties may be assigned.
