Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for assessing and analyzing behavior, designing and implementing behavior plans, and providing training to parents, caregivers, and staff. You will work with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and other behavioral disorders to develop and maintain their skills, independence, and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting functional behavior assessments (FBA) and developing behavior intervention plans (BIP) for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and other behavioral disorders
- Implementing behavior plans and providing ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and modification as needed
- Providing direct behavior intervention services to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community
- Collaborating with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure the effective implementation of behavior plans and the generalization of skills
- Providing training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques, data collection, and other relevant topics
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including progress notes, behavior plans, and data collection sheets
- Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and other professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavior analysis and intervention
- Knowledge of principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and evidence-based interventions for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct functional assessments, develop behavior plans, and analyze data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and professionals from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to professional ethics and standards
