What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemical Blender and Sample Collector position at Finoric LLC?

The ideal candidate will have a solid background and experience in the oil and gas field. The candidate will be collecting chemical samples from various locations. The candidate must be familiar with lease roads in West Texas. The role involves navigating these routes to gather samples from salt water disposal sites, frack ponds, retention ponds, and other similar areas. We offer mileage reimbursement for candidates using their own personal vehicles for work-related travel.
Duties:
- Maintain and promote a high level of awareness for Safety and Quality
- Maintain and promote cleanliness and report/question any concerns
- Reports all accidents, injuries, safety violations, etc.
- Working knowledge of process equipment and instrumentation such as tanks, piping, values, mixers, pumps, meters, scales, filters, hoses, etc.
- Offload/load dry-van trailers, flat-bed trailers, tanker trucks and bulk ISO containers
- Assist in blending and dilution of chemical products under constant supervision
- Handle and pump a variety of chemicals from water to extremely hazardous items.
- Work with other team members to complete production processes
- Make suggestions to management for improving this position, or improving work processes
- Be familiar with all products in storage tanks, their specific hazards, and emergency protocol.
- Reports all accidents, injuries, safety violations, etc.
- Understand the basics of process equipment and instrumentation such as pumps, reactors, valves, filters etc.
- Move items such as drums, pallets, raw materials, pails, finished material, etc. around as needed
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
- Perform daily equipment checks such daily forklift pre-checks
- Stack pallets and totes
- Collect chemical samples as needed
- Assist with shipping and receiving
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
