Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Sonographer to join our team in Lawton, OK. This role requires an individual who is committed to providing exceptional ultrasound services to patients, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all settings served by the department. Key Responsibilities

• Perform Ultrasound Services: Deliver timely and efficient ultrasound services to all patients.
• Patient Preparation: Verify patient and procedural information, prepare patients for exams, and educate them and their families about the procedure.
• Exam Execution: Perform exams, process films, and communicate and transmit reports to physicians.
• Administrative Tasks: Assist in assigned administrative tasks, compile and organize data for radiologists, and maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational programs.
• Room Maintenance: Prepare and clean exam rooms, file films, stock supplies, and ensure all areas are ready for patient care.
• Scheduling and Transport: May schedule patients for procedures and assist with patient transport as needed.

Must-Haves

• Certification: Must have either:
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with at least one advanced certification, preferably two.
• Basic Life Support (CPR): Must obtain certification within 7 days of hire.
