Overview

***$1,000 Sign on bonus after 30 days of employment!***

Starting Hourly Wage: $20.96/hr

We are currently looking for Associate Chemical Operator (Packager) to work out of our Waukesha, Wi facility. We are currently working 50 hrs a week. 10 hours daily.

Monday - Friday

7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Firestone Building Products is a leading international manufacturer and supplier of a comprehensive product portfolio for commercial building performance solutions. 

Responsibilities

  • Must be able to pack products in one of three major classifications: Foam, Coatings Mills or Coatings Reactors
  • Must be able to label products before and after packaging as needed
  • Able to setup packaging area for one of three major classifications
  • Must be able to fill containers to specified weight and expected quality standards
  • Proper labeling of wash, left over bulk or non-conforming material
  • Proper package preparation of material by using nitrogen to flush away contaminants in head space
  • Prepares container closures by following proper procedures for crimping lids, torqueing bungs and tote caps, and utilizing seals and zip ties
  • Proper maintenance and cleaning of all equipment, pumps, tank scraping as required

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • Must be able to pass respirator fit test and medical evaluation
  • Must be clean shaven to meet work requirements
