About the Role

As a Family Law Attorney, you will represent clients in a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, custody disputes, child and spousal support, and adoption. This role demands a balance of strategic advocacy and empathetic client care, helping individuals navigate complex legal and emotional challenges with confidence.

Responsibilities Include:

• Representing clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, adoption, and domestic relations.
• Handling litigation in Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Courts and Circuit Courts.
• Preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements while developing sound case strategies.
• Engaging in negotiations, mediations, and dispute resolution to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Providing compassionate and strategic guidance to clients during emotionally charged situations.
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver seamless, high-quality legal services in one of the busiest family law practices in the region.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a dedicated family law attorney who brings legal expertise, professionalism, and a compassionate approach to advocacy.

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia State Bar license (required).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in family law, including custody disputes, divorce, and domestic relations.
• Proven ability to manage litigation effectively and achieve successful outcomes for clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building trust and rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards, professionalism, and collaboration.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience managing high-conflict cases with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills, with a history of achieving favorable outcomes in family law litigation.
