JOB SUMMARY:  This position is responsible for assisting the Lending Trainer in supporting and training bank personnel on lending products, software, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in providing training to lending staff on products, software, compliance, policies and procedures of the bank, with a focus on the Loan Officer and FSR positions.
• Develop/maintain familiarity with lending products and processes, lending related software, policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Assist with preparation and implementation of training material for lending staff on products, software, compliance, policies and procedures of the bank, with a focus on the Loan Officer and FSR positions.
• Maintain beneficial training curriculum and reference materials as directed by the Lending Trainer.
• Remain up-to-date on all facets of lending regulations.  
• Attend continuing education programs that compliment training responsibilities.
• Support lending staff by responding to questions related to the lending processes, software, policies, and procedures in a professional, concise, and timely manner.
• Assist with regular training updates via e-mails and monthly FSR meetings as directed by the Lending Trainer.
• Assist and support all loan administration related departments as needed.
• Update related Intranet pages as needed.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effectively schedule and adhere to regular training sessions for lending staff.
• Effectively work and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
• Follow the directions of supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point; 10 key and typing skills a must.
• Prior experience in loans/lending.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

• Experience using loan software.
• Prior training and/or customer service experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:

• Sitting and talking for long periods; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
• Frequent lifting (up to 10 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).
• Driving to other bank locations as needed.
• Willing to work flexible schedules.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Normal office environment. 
• Travel to other locations is required.
