ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greeting customers warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the branch.
- Assisting customers with account openings, closures, and maintenance, ensuring accuracy and adherence to banking policies.
- Conducting cash and non-cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and fund transfers.
- Balancing cash drawers and reconciling transactions at the end of each shift.
- Processing loan payments, credit card advances, and other financial transactions.
- Identifying customer financial needs through comprehensive profiling and active listening.
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services to customers.
- Resolving customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Collaborating with team members to meet customer service and operational goals.
- Staying updated on banking regulations, product changes, and industry trends to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
- Ensuring compliance with all banking policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Assisting customers with account inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information on banking products and services.
- Responding to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email.
- Ensuring compliance with all banking policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area for efficient customer service.

- High school diploma or equivalent - required.
- Associate's degree - Accounting, Business, Finance, Communications and/or Marketing - preferred.
- Three or more years of customer service experience - preferred.
- Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills.

- Working knowledge of Word and Excel

- Develop and maintain a profitable commercial loan portfolio.
- Interview applicants to develop credit and financial information to determine if a loan is an acceptable risk.
- Assists with implementing the bank’s business plan and keeping management apprised of internal resources, market conditions and competitive pressures.
- Consult with customers to provide financial advice and obtain current credit and financial information as needed.
- Identifies and explores business development opportunities within the community.
- Work to attract new loan and business customers.
- Represent the bank in the community to develop business and promote FB&T products and services.
- Prepare and present loan requests to the loan committee for approval.
- Manage loan portfolio relating to maintenance, modifications, and renewals on existing credits.
- Monitors the asset quality of the commercial loan portfolio including authorizing credit and maintaining appropriate underwriting standards.
- Adheres to regulatory compliance, governing documentation, record keeping, origination, collection laws and regulatory reports.
- Cross sells bank products and services.
- Correspond with loan processors, underwriters, and credit analysts.

- Five years of experience in a financial institution, loan department, or similar area.
- Extensive knowledge of lending services and related areas
