Per Diem and Contract Opportunities in the following VA locations : Virginia Beach Norfolk Portsmouth Chesapeake Suffolk Courtland Windsor Newport News Hampton Williamsburg.

REQUIREMENTS :

Covid Vaccine

1 year Experience Minimum

BLS / CPR Certification

Updated PPD ( within 1 year)

Active RN License

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds without restrictions.

Must be able to stand and walk for long hours without restrictions.

Must be able to bend and lift without restrictions.

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, bend, lift, stand and walk without restrictions) and mentally but also very rewarding.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description

Continuous evaluation and monitoring of patients for signs of recovery or worsening of their condition

Changing dressings, starting IV lines and inserting catheters

Preparing medical equipment and maintaining supplies to be ready for immediate use

Administering medication as directed by a physician or within the nurses' own schedule of drugs

Accurately reporting on patients' progress to the other members of the care team, as well as to families and medical decision-makers

Assisting doctors with monitoring and with bedside procedures performed in the progressive care unit
