Researches and analyzes transactions and other account issues, updates information in the system, and contacts other departments as needed. Processes a variety of correspondence. Responsibilities: Answers incoming calls and web chats from customers, agents, carriers, and general agents by actively listening, identifying callers’ needs, clarifying or confirming information, and providing answers or solutions. Routes or escalates calls to the appropriate person or department. Researches and analyzes transactions and other account issues, contacting other departments when necessary. Submits posting corrections or updates accounts as required to resolve issues. Processes correspondence from carriers and general agents by verifying information, updating the system, identifying discrepancies, and/or forwarding to other departments.
