Summary of the Job :
As a Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing highly scalable and resilient infrastructure systems, with a focus on automation and modernized workflows. This role requires deep expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), NSX, and Ansible, as well as some familiarity with public cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.), infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform), and CI / CD pipelines. The Systems Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of infrastructure components and drive innovation to meet evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for systems automation, cloud and data center architecture, and delivering reliable and efficient solutions.
About This Role :
- Design and implement robust and scalable infrastructure solutions leveraging VMware Cloud Foundation.
- Develop and maintain hybrid cloud architectures with AWS and on-premises data centers.
- Lead the automation of infrastructure deployments using Ansible, Terraform, and CI / CD pipelines.
- Continuously optimize infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Implement security best practices across systems to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure issues promptly.
- Audit existing systems and identify opportunities for optimization and cost-efficiency.
- Act as a technical lead for large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Mentor team members, fostering knowledge sharing and building technical bench strength.
- Provide training and documentation to end-users and technical staff.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating new solutions where appropriate.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure system performance and reliability.
- Experience using architecture design tools (e.g., draw.io, Lucidchart, or Visio) to create technical diagrams and workflows.
- Prepare executive-level reports summarizing infrastructure performance, project progress, and improvement initiatives.
