Description
Function: Assist with the administration of daily activities involving several areas within Risk Management including Collections, BSA, Compliance and Internal Audit/QC. Work within these areas to provide comprehensive support where it is most needed, prioritizing tasks based on urgency. This role will involve evolving functions, with tasks and priorities shifting based on the immediate needs of the department.
Duties:
Collections
- Assist with delinquency management.
- Administer customer correspondence including notifications and other communications required by regulation.
- Complete data analysis, report creation, and other small projects.
- Perform a variety of administrative duties, including processing mail, imaging documents, etc.
BSA
- Assist with case reviews, regulatory filings and identification and monitoring of suspicious activity and high-risk customers.
- Help with CTR monitoring to ensure they are filed on a timely basis.
- Ensure that all employees are trained on an annual basis of the importance of complying with BSA and its various subsections: completions of CTRs, SARs, anti-money laundering efforts, CIP, etc.
Compliance
- Perform HMDA data reviews, as needed.
- Prepare and submit the HMDA Loan Activity Register (LAR) accurately and on a timely basis.
- Assist with loan compliance reviews to ensure compliance with various lending regulations, including fair lending, TRID compliance, flood insurance, etc.
- Assist with the tracking of errors, findings, and omissions.
Internal Audit/QC
- Assist with audit and exam preparation, including the gathering of data and documentation and branch audits.
- Complete QC workflows.
Miscellaneous
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of banking financial systems, Microsoft Office suite, internet/intranet sites and software
- Experience with residential and commercial loan documentation preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
