What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bank Teller (Part-Time) position at First Neighborhood Bank?
The Bank Teller is responsible for assisting bank customers in a variety of ways, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check-cashing, and other routine banking transactions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and team support
- Process a variety of transactions accurately and efficiently
- Ability to use office machines and perform basic mathematical functions
- Accurate daily balancing of teller cash drawer
- Respond to inquiries or requests for information
- Assist in performing bank office duties
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Cash handling and customer service experience in banking or a retail setting. 1 year of experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of math concepts and principles to solve problems
- Ability to operate teller equipment and office equipment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs
- Must be able to work all hours of operation
