First State Bank is seeking a Secondary Market Analyst at our Baxter location. If you have experience in mortgage loan pipeline committed to be sold to Secondary Market Investors this may be a good fit for you!
40 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Secondary Market Analyst will perform all duties required of this position by following policies and procedures set forth by First State Bank, including, but not limited to:
- Prepares and distributes a daily rate sheet to residential market lenders.
- Commits loans with investors on a flow basis, maximizing profit as borrowers make loan application and elect to lock their interest rate.
- Manages lock expirations, changes, relocks, renegotiations and extensions.
- Prices loans for loan origination staff.
- Maintains up-to-date secondary records in Encompass regarding commitments.
- Reconciles investor purchase advice forms, posting gains and detailed information to Encompass.
- Assists servicing department with borrower related issues and questions.
- Monitors and distributes MPF pipeline on a weekly basis.
- Processes extended lock fee checks to be submitted to investors.
- Monitors lock expirations for originators, notifying them when a lock is set to expire.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- A minimum of two years mortgage lock desk and pricing experience required.
