What are the responsibilities and job description for the GUEST SERVICE HOST position at Fitzgeralds Casino?
BASIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process, complete and deliver all food and hotel reservations, whether in house or call-ins as soon as they’re received. Basket or amenity requests will be handled in the same efficient manner.
- Assist all departments when your services are needed to handle a guest situation or request. Insure the Casino Host is always aware of the existing problem.
- Complete the daily office functions on your assigned shift.
- Take down information in order to return calls to guests.
- Record the daily information for reservations and comp request on the call log.
- Interface daily with operation and marketing departments on issues of importance.
- Telemarketing guests for Special Events as required and answering all incoming telephone calls will be 80% of job function.
- Working Host Desk to assist with guest service will be a minimum 10% of job function.
- Working assigned promotions and special events will be a minimum 10% of job function.
- In training at all times to fulfill Casino Host position and assigned duties.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION):
- Excellent communications, telephone and customer relation skills.
- Experience in running office equipment.
- Computer skills, ability to type.
- Above standard appearance in attire and presentation.
- Previous experience in sales or marketing/promotions preferred.
- Minimum two years experience in a casino host or equivalent position.
- Drives licenses of state you live in.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Mississippi Gaming Badge.
