Fives Landis Corp is actively seeking a Sales Engineer to join its team in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Fives Landis Corp is the High Precision Machines Division of Fives specializes in the design and supply of various types of grinding machines for numerous markets such as Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Rail, Shipbuilding, Energy, Space, etc.

The division has approximately 1,800 employees worldwide working in about 20 locations in Asia, Europe, and North America.

We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer who has the same desire to prove that

industry can do it!

At Fives we all have a part to play in achieving our common purpose. Your role will be to:

• Evaluate sales inquiries/opportunities; leads the process to determine the best technical and commercial solution for the customer’s application.
• Analyzes/determines production requirements for targeted solutions & develop a specific proposal for quotation to prospective customer.
• Use extensively Salesforce, SAP, Adept, and other important data to complete tasks accurately and expeditiously.
• Communicate with automation/equipment vendors to establish ancillary equipment needs and receive vendor quotation for project pricing.
• Is a key contributor to the team that develops the strategy, technical differentiators and Landis value proposition to win order.
• Collaborates/contributes to the presentation of proposals as a subject matter expert.
• Develops project budget, writes machine factory order, leads order line-up meeting and launch of order into the company.
• Keeps a detailed log of activities per department protocols and business systems.
  
  
  

At Fives Landis Corp. and under the direction of the Bid & Proposal Manager, you will join the Sales Engineering team.

Salary Range: $70k - $90K (This range takes in account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.)

• Available to travel to meet with customers
• Authorized to work for Any employer in the United States.
• Demonstrated practical or precision grinding technology and/or grinding process in manufacturing experience.
• Understanding of reading blueprints/drawings.
• Quoting customers and working with multiple departments on projects.
• Salesforce, SAP, Adept experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
