We are looking to hire a Junior HR Specialist in the city of Cleveland, Ohio. This is a contract to hire opportunity to join our HR department!
Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44105
Schedule: Monday- Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
Pay: $22-25/hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a Junior HR Specialist to join our HR Team. This position will primarily focus on supporting the recruitment process and assisting the Human Resources department with various tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in the manufacturing industry and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Provide new hires with information regarding company policies, benefits, and procedures.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Take part in planning company events.
Maintain accurate HR records and employee files.
Support the implementation of training programs for employees to enhance skills and knowledge.
Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining HR databases and generating reports.
Assist with payroll processing as needed.
Maintain uniform inventory count.
Assign and track lockers to the workforce.
Work with HRBPs to schedule investigations
Create/post site wide communications.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Skills/Qualifications:
Previous experience in an HR role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
