Position Summary
The Senior Analyst – Master Data and Analytics role is responsible for driving initiatives to review, restructure, and optimize how master data is created, maintained, and utilized. This role will oversee projects focused on master data integrity and quality improvement within key systems, while leading cross-functional efforts to ensure the successful governance of cross-functional master data domains. The role acts as a project lead and advisor for data-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
Essential Functions
- Develop and execute strategies to define and implement master data governance frameworks, policies, and controls.
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and updates of master data in the ERP system, ensuring alignment with governance policies.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to align master data rules, policies, and ownership standards across the organization.
- Conduct data quality audits and integrity reviews to identify and address inconsistencies or policy deviations.
- Establish and maintain data quality metrics and reporting to validate operational processes and enforce standards.
- Design and manage initiatives to improve data quality, leveraging error detection, correction methodologies, and process redesign.
- Analyze and implement system enhancements or integrations to improve master data management processes.
- Collaborate with IT and functional teams to deploy tools and technologies that enhance data governance and streamline workflows.
- Serve as the primary contact for master data-related projects, providing guidance and expertise to functional data owners and IT teams.
- Partner with business units to identify and resolve master data-related improvement opportunities.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress on data integrity and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on the status and outcomes of master data-related initiatives.
- Assist the Master Data team in prioritizing and executing daily tasks in alignment with project timelines and organizational goals.
- Facilitate training and mentoring for team members to ensure proficiency in data governance practices and tools.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, promoting efficient and effective master data management practices.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Education/Experience)
- Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain or Business
- 10 years’ experience in CPG Manufacturing
- 5 years’ experience in MDM - Strong data management background in (Product, Customer, Vendor) who understands how to ingest data, proper data use/consumption, data quality, and stewardship.
- 5 years’ experience in Staff Management
- 5 years’ experience in Data Analysis
- 10 years’ experience with SAP – and other ERP Systems, PLM software and PDM software
- Skilled at identifying opportunities for increasing business efficiency.
- Performs root cause analysis to resolve issues. Understands cause and effect. Take the initiative to resolve problems.
- Strong working knowledge of all supply chain information and transactional systems, with the ability to learn both theory and application of existing and emerging technologies and tools.
- Able to adapt and does not require a rigid framework to operate successfully in; is able to improvise both process and technologically to affect the desired outcome; can clearly explain logical reasons for improvisation.
- Logical thinker who thinks projects and situations through with very little codified knowledge, follows a clear chain of reasoning when making decisions.

- Detail oriented and accurate. Minimize mistakes, follow every step in a process and follow through with all tasks. Double checks work for accuracy.
