What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bank Teller position at Flat Branch Bank?
A bank teller is responsible for accurately processing a wide range of customer transactions in a fast-paced banking environment. They ensure that all transactions are completed efficiently, securely, and in accordance with bank policies. Tellers provide excellent customer service, answer inquiries, and promote bank products and services. Bank Tellers must have a range of customer service skills. Since they’re often the first person a customer speaks to at a bank, Bank Tellers must have a warm demeanor and friendly disposition. These professionals must also be knowledgeable enough to help customers with their banking needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and provide them with the information about their accounts and available services. Answer customer questions regarding their account. Address and resolve customer concerns or issues in a professional and efficient manner. Promote the banks products and services.
2. Customer Transactions:
Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other banking transactions for customers. Be able to verify customers identities to ensure security. Maintain accurate transaction record and ensure all funds are accounted for. Handle cash and checks carefully to avoid errors and discrepancies.
3. Security and Compliance
Ensure compliance with banking regulations, polices, and procedures. Monitor customer activity for potential fraud and suspicious activity and know when to report.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
