Metarie, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is sourcing for a Fabrication Production Manager. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process in a manufacturing facility, coordinating all activities to ensure efficient workflow, meet deadlines, maintain quality standards, and optimize resource allocation, while adhering to safety regulations and budget constraints.
Key duties include: production planning, scheduling, quality control, labor management, and resolving production issues that may arise.
Production Planning: Develop and execute detailed production plans to meet customer demand, considering raw material availability, labor capacity, and production lead times.
Scheduling: Create and Manage production schedules, assigning tasks to workers and optimizing workflow to maximize efficiency.
Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications and standard, identifying and addressing quality issues promptly.
Resource Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials, supplies and finished goods to optimize production costs and prevent shortages.
Labor Management: Supervise production teams, assigning tasks, addressing performance issues and ensuring adherence to safety products.
Cost Control : Monitor production costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and maintaining budget adherence.
Performance Monitoring: Track production metrics such as output, efficiency, and scrap rates to identify areas for improvement.
Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve production issues, including equipment malfunctions, material delays, and labor disruptions.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree and/or related operations experience; or equivalent combination of education and related operations experience is required
- 3-5 years experience production management experience
- Fabrication experience required
- Required to interact with other managers, employees, vendors, and customers
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
