FlexStaff is seeking a Land Surveying Manager for our client, an engineering firm, to lead and manage land surveying services and oversee field staff operations in the Western NY region.
This is a permanent, full-time job.
The ideal candidate would have a 10 years’ land survey experience and a professional survey licensure for NYS, as well as a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor projects from initiation through delivery, while interfacing with clients and staff
- Work within the project scopes and budgets, and manage deadlines while prioritizing assignments
- Perform business development activities, proposal preparation, and project management
- Manage survey staff
- Survey calculations, analysis and final map checking, review of title data, record drawings research, and client relations
- Write descriptions for property boundary survey use in deeds, leases, or other legal documents
- Verify the accuracy of field survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
