Position Overview :

As the Office Manager at Floor Coverings International, you will be an essential part of our Team, driving business operations and enhancing the customer experience behind the scenes. Youll act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communications and overseeing projects from start to finish to ensure complete satisfaction. This role demands strong leadership, outstanding multitasking abilities, meticulous attention to detail to uphold our high standards, and exceptional communication skills. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive, efficient office environment that contributes to the success and growth of our franchise.

Key Responsibilities :

Customer Relationship Management : Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.

Scheduling : Coordinate and manage lead appointments for the sales team, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.

Marketing Support : Assist in executing local marketing tactics to generate leads and drive customer engagement. This would include, but is not limited to, monitoring social media accounts.

Collaboration : Conduct weekly meetings to review new sales and current projects.

Project Coordination : Schedule and oversee job timelines, keeping both customers and installers informed of start dates and updates.

Conflict Resolution : Address and resolve issues with customers, installers, and vendors to maintain smooth project flow.

QuickBooks : Ability to manage data entry, ensuring accuracy and timely updates is a plus.

Administrative Tasks : Maintain up-to-date job status and manage daily office operations.

Customer Satisfaction : Consistently strive for a 5 / 5 star rating, maintaining exceptional service standards throughout the customer journey.

What Were Looking For :

Experience : Proven experience in office / production / operations management, particularly in flooring or a related industry.

Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of managing phone and in-person interactions effectively.

Organized and Detail-Oriented : Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail.

Proactive and Independent : Able to work without supervision, anticipate needs, and make decisions confidently.

Tech Savvy : Proficient in using computer systems and software for scheduling, tracking, and project management.

Leadership Abilities : Experience in managing crews, coordinating projects, and maintaining workflow efficiency.

Compensation, Benefits and Perks :

Competitive Salary : $45,000-$55,000 / year, based on experience.

His wife has homeschooled their daughters since first grade, with their youngest still at home. Their oldest is preparing for marriage. They also have two dogs.

A dedicated family man and active member of his local church, Clayton prioritizes integrity and strong relationships, values he brings to his business. He aims to create a work environment built on respect, teamwork, and growth.

Outside of work, Clayton and his family enjoy hiking, kayaking, and boating. He chose to invest in an FCI franchise to step away from the corporate world and build something meaningful.
