Join our Leadership team as a Caregiver Float!
Focus is looking to add a Float Coordinator position to our middle management team. As part of our mission of providing a positive and supportive environment for our caregivers, it is equally important to make sure all our clients needs and services are being met. This position would allow the Float position the opportunity to help many clients while maintaining a regular group of clients on the schedule during the week as well as making sure that the client’s needs are met even in the event of a caregiver call-in or time off request.
Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility of the Float position is to work every other weekend,
- Every Monday and Friday must be available to cover open shifts or call ins.
- During the week, some flexibility is needed around regular clients to assist with covering call ins.
- Must have at least 30 hours per week of availability.
- Must be able to work in all client settings and locations (Pets, Smoke, etc).
- Be flexible and able to perform all skill levels of care; if not certified, must be APC certified through Focus HealthCare in the first 60 days.
- Complete certified education topics in the first 6 months.
- Have reliable transportation and be willing to drive anywhere in the coverage area up to a 30-mile radius on a schedule weekend.
- Possess strong Verbal & Written Communication skills.
- Be dependable.
- Must have a cell phone with email capabilities.
- Must possess the ability to identify what needs to be done in client homes.
- Must be willing to train new employees.
Job Requirements:
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
- Caring and compassionate attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform job duties.
- Valid DL and car insurance.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a background screening through the State of MO Family Care Safety Registry.
