FON Advisors, a specialized financial advisory firm focused on the aerospace, defense, and government services (ADG) sectors, is seeking a highly motivated AI Intern. This hybrid internship is open to graduate students, preferably but limited to, those located in the Greater Washington DC area.

In addition to our financial expertise, FON Advisors is deeply engaged in adapting and integrating dual-use technologies across the Department of Defense (DoD) and various government agencies. Position Overview

As an AI Intern at FON Advisors, you will play a crucial role in helping our firm leverage artificial intelligence tools to enhance efficiencies across our operations. You will work closely with our team in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. This position offers a blend of remote and in-office work, providing flexibility while maintaining collaborative opportunities with day-to-day mentorship from executive-level professionals.

What You Will Do

• Analyze current business and financial processes, and identify opportunities for AI implementation to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Research and evaluate AI tools and technologies relevant to financial advisory services and the ADG sectors
• Assist in developing and implementing AI-driven marketing and web development solutions to include social media (LinkedIn, Industry publications, etc.)
• Assist in developing and implementing AI-driven solutions for market analysis, due diligence, and investment decision-making processes
• Collaborate with team members to integrate AI tools into existing workflows and systems
• Contribute to the development of AI-powered analytics for identifying promising lower middle market companies in the ADG sectors
• Support the creation of AI-enhanced reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
• Assist in exploring AI applications for enhancing our ability to bridge commercial innovation with government needs
• Be prepared to take on other tasks as assigned, reflecting our dynamic operational tempo

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate business program at a Greater Washington DC area university
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence and its applications in finance and the ADG sectors
• Solid understanding of AI concepts, machine learning, and data analytics
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Adaptability and willingness to take on diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
• Knowledge of or interest in aerospace, defense, and government services industries is preferred
