Pricing Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

This role is responsible for facilitating pricing and coordinating factory selection and pricing with our overseas teams and Brand Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Does on going work with communication and input with overseas teams on performance and evaluation of factory base for any needed adjustments and alignment on Platinum factory designation
• Does initial work to set up cost request form to set up constructions and styes to use for price approval with US office
• Once form is complete, it is published to EVP for estimated pairs and target costs
• Pricing Manager is responsible for putting spec information into pricing tool for final sample pricing
• Overseas teams would be responsible for price negotiation and factory selection with final approval of costs coming from EVP in partnership with Pricing Manager
• Pricing Manager would then work with team to get final bill of materials and costs for top 3 contenders entered into pricing tool.
• Once final factory selection is made by overseas teams with EVP approval, factory selection would be put into approved status in pricing tool by P & P Manager or team
• As prices finalize, Pricing Manager would be responsible for finalizing all information in pricing tool and keeping information up to date and accurate
• Pricing Manager helps to manage excel pricing tool with correct costs and MSRP’s as things finalize and would be back up to quote prices to sales team for retailers based on targeted margins
• Pricing Manager would place all orders to align with needed deliveries as orders come in from customers. They would work with their associate to make sure all information and orders are sent overseas in a timely manner with accurate information to secure dates and production
• Responsible for making sure specs are aligned with pricing tool
• Responsible for promoting all bought styles in Blue Cherry for order placement
• Works with logistics and customer service to validate that orders are correct and make sure orders can hit all needed timelines
• Manages orders in Blue Cherry from key entry to final Approved Status. Any issues that arise after the orders are in the system but prior to going into Booked Status should be monitored and approved by Pricing Manager unless it is caused by container delays.
• Accountable for accuracy of orders to include duty and port of origin along with all other header data
• Accountable for placing orders as needed based on the Oversold Report and initial orders. Ongoing communication with Customer Service partners to align on orders needed to be placed and accuracy of placements is critical to not overbuy goods or underbuy goods
• Creates all reporting needed to track and communicate information across team members for orders

REQUIRED EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proven track record in a similar role
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Collaborative mindset
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Both lead and follow as a trusted team member
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to carry and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• This position will require sitting for long periods of time, walking, standing, and bending, as well as using fine motor skills, such as finger dexterity for typing or calculator use.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with others. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
• The majority of this job will be spent indoors in a climate-controlled environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
