Web Developer

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.

• Ability to design and development web solutions.
• Ability to support web sites, application and build reports in various systems.
• A thorough understanding of security with regard to Web Application.
• Ability to create responsive/adaptive interfaces based on device and content.
• Ability to transform design mockups into functional user interfaces.
• Experience with SEO and site optimization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience in PHP(v8), MySQL/SQL Server, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5, CSS, WordPress, Node.js, Node Package Manager, Vue.js, Composer, Laravel, Ubuntu Linux, Apache, and CMS experience.
• Working knowledge of AWS (includes: Lightsail, EC2, Route 53, KMS, SES, and IAM)
• Knowledge of IIS and hosting strategies.
• Knowledge of DNS and SSL solutions.
• Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying; taking time to listen and understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing to others in order to convey information effectively.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of employees, officers, directors, and service providers.
• Ability to manage time and be efficient and effective in the completion of multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Ability to establish productive business relationships with others, both inside and outside the organization.
• Ability to work with little direct supervision in carrying out the tasks and responsibilities assigned.

Required Education and/or Experience

• Associate’s Degree or comparable technical school certifications required; Bachelor’s Degree in either Computer Science or Business Management or Organizational Management preferred.
• Three (3) years’ of experience in development, technology, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to regularly travel to other locations.
• The following additional skills are preferred but not required: ASP.NET, ColdFusion, AJAX, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Postfix, Let’s Encrypt/Certbot, Vite, Inertia.js, Vuetify, and Subversion.

Other Requirements

• May be required to attend activities outside the office to stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.

• Ability to work flexible schedules that may include early/late or weekend working hours.
