We are seeking an experienced and proactive Automotive Supervisor to oversee the coordination and, when necessary, execution of timely and efficient problem analysis for scheduled retrofits and prototype builds.

The ideal candidate will lead by example, providing guidance and support to the team in challenging situations, while identifying and implementing effective strategies to achieve project goals and meet deadlines. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to operational excellence are essential for success in this role.

Essential Responsibilities :

Coordinate and manage the execution of various projects and retrofits, ensuring efficient processing and completion.
Lead a team of automotive technicians and quality inspectors in conducting quality control and rework activities, ensuring high standards are met.
Communicate project status and progress, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
Coordinate and implement measures to improve quality across projects.
Support team members in executing complex retrofits, providing guidance and troubleshooting as needed.
Quickly adjust work plans and priorities to accommodate urgent tasks and unforeseen challenges.
Perform additional duties as required to support team and project objectives.

Leadership Responsibilities :

Maintain effective communication between the Team and Management.

Collaborate with support departments as necessary to ensure smooth project execution.

Conduct pre-shift meetings to align the team on objectives, priorities, and updates.

Provide problem-solving support throughout the entire process, from identifying issues to implementing resolutions.

Conduct coaching sessions to address tactical day-to-day observations and guide behavior modification.

Resolve conflicts within the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Ensure team members receive all necessary training and communication to perform their duties effectively.

Oversee the timely completion of all required documentation, including forms, reports, and time records.

Ensure the implementation and adherence to the customer safety program, maintaining a strong safety culture on the respective shift.

Qualification / Requirements

2-3 years of professional experience in the automotive industry

Communication skills - interpersonal, presentation and written

Resource management

Proactive, hands on experience

Proficient with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Experience / Education :

High School Diploma

2-3 years of automotive supervisory experience

Environmental Requirements :

May be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise

Some duties performed outside in all weather conditions

This is a physically demanding position

Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds.

Regularly stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during shifts of 8 hours
