Job Overview
Forte Surfaces is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented flooring technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the epoxy flooring & concrete restoration industry and a strong background in various flooring installation techniques. This role involves working with different materials, ensuring high-quality finishes, and providing exceptional service to our clients. The epoxy flooring technician will play a crucial role in transforming spaces by installing, restoring, and maintaining existing concrete surfaces
Duties
- Work as a team to finish epoxy flooring projects on time and according to spec.
- Install various types of flooring systems including, epoxy, polyaspartic, urethane, urethane cement, concrete polishing, densifier & joint filler.
- Use various types of concrete prep equipment including, shotblaster, diamond grinder, scarifier, joint pumps & sprayers.
- Collaborate with project managers & fellow teammates to understand the requirements of each job and develop a plan to execute.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise installation according to specifications.
- Review technical data sheets to understand the complexities regarding each product prior to installation.
- Communicate clearly with customers to manage expectations throughout entire job.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all tasks performed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in flooring installation or related fields within the concrete restoration & epoxy flooring industry.
- Familiarity with various flooring materials and installation techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed during installations.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to get to and from work daily with reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
