Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and engaging environment for children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive needs are met.
- Develop and implement creative and engaging activities to support the children's learning and development, including arts, music, and outdoor play.
- Assist children with daily routines, including feeding, bathing, and dressing.
- Create and maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Work closely with the preschool team to design and implement lesson plans and activities that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of each child.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and program updates.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, preferably in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and learning principles.
- Experience with special education or working with children who have special needs.
- Ability to manage behavior and maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of colleagues and families.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education certification or degree preferred.
- First aid and CPR certification preferred.
Skills:
