General Position
Description:
The job of the Bus Driver is to transport students over scheduled routes and/or to/from special excursions, ensure
vehicle operation in a safe operating condition, and ensure the safety of students during transport, loading, and
unloading from buses.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Substitute Bus Driver position should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one
year of experience in automotive vehicle operation, and be at least 21 years old. They must also hold a valid California
Driver’s License, Medical Authorization (DL-51), and a valid Special Driver’s Certificate for School Bus (DL-45).
Prior to employment, the applicant must obtain DOJ fingerprinting and TB Clearance at their own expense.
