Forward Insurance is looking for an experienced Health Insurance Agent for our growing team. The agent will play a vital role in helping individuals and families navigate the complex world of health insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with new and existing clients to assess their healthcare needs and guide them in selecting the most appropriate health plans.
- Provide advice on Medicare programs, helping eligible clients navigate their choices and complete necessary applications.
- Willing to present at seminars and webinars throughout the year across all of our locations.
- Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and insurance products to offer accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.
- Conduct regular reviews of clients' insurance needs to ensure their coverage remains appropriate as their circumstances change.
- Educate clients on the specifics of their insurance policies, including coverage details, premiums, deductibles, and out-of-pocket costs.
- Document and maintain detailed records of client interactions, insurance applications, and policy changes.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years proven working experience as a Health Insurance Agent or relevant experience.
- Active Life/ Accident & Health Insurance licenses preferred but not required.
- If not currently licensed, ability to obtain licenses with first 60 days of employment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business preferred but not required.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate, present, influence and sell effectively.
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions and establishing long lasting relationships.
