Reports to:
Financial Services Manager
Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to review and reconcile various asset and liability account balances to assure their accuracy, and to prepare schedules of account balances. Post monthly entries, help prepare financial statements and cost reports. Assist in payroll, human resources, accounts payable and other financial services duties deemed necessary by Financial Services Manager.
Duties:
- Review and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts as directed by the Financial Services Manager and resolve any discrepancies.
- Help prepare financial statements and reports in a timely manner.
- Review and analyze asset, liability and funds accounts and prepare a schedule of account balances in a timely manner.
- Payroll and Human Resources.
- Accounts Payable.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned by the Financial Services Manager.

- Be able to work effectively with management, facilities and staff, develop, and maintain a good working rapport with all personnel.
- Possess strong organizational skills including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Be able to maintain confidentiality of various projects, correspondence and other written or oral issues.
- Willingness to work beyond normal working hours and in other positions temporarily as required by the Financial Services Manager.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills

- Must be able to see hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with employees throughout the company at all levels.
- Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 10 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 25 feet.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university required.
Experience Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience with computerized accounting systems required.
- Experience with Windows based word processing, spreadsheets, E-Mail and databases required.
- Long-term healthcare experience preferred
