Medical Imager/X-ray/CT

The primary responsibility of the Medical Imager/X-ray/CT is:

• Prep and screen patients appropriately for imaging procedures.
• Produce diagnostic images of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems.
• Explain and perform radiologic procedure with consideration to the level of understanding and age appropriateness for the patient.
• Able to assess patient pain by interfering with imaging procedures - makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.

An ideal Candidate would have the following qualifications:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists- Currently Registered- Radiography, and CT Required
• A Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but not required. Current compliance with continuing education credit requirements
• Current BCLS certification Required
• 2 years experienced preferred
• We are willing to train the CT portion for the right candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
