Garden Center Merchandiser – 5-Week Contract (4 to 5 Days a Week)
Start Date: April 27 to June 1, 2025
Location: Colchester . Are you motivated, reliable, and passionate about plants? Join our team and help us bring beautiful seasonal flowers and fresh organic herbs to our Garden Centers in Vermont Colchester! As a Garden Center Merchandiser, you'll play a key role in managing our space, ensuring products are well-organized, and providing excellent customer service.Your Daily Responsibilities:
- Product Reception & Merchandising: Receive new stock and organize products every morning.
- Warehouse Setup: Set up your designated area in the warehouse each day.
- Inventory Management: Conduct inventory checks using our app, in both the morning and afternoon.
- Plant Care: Maintain the health and appearance of plants throughout the day.
- Customer Assistance: Help customers with their plant purchases and provide excellent service.
What We’re Looking For:
- Quick on Your Feet: Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Great Prioritizer: Able to stay organized and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency when needed.
- Early Bird: Availability to be on-site reliably in the mornings (5-8 AM).
- Weekend Availability: Willing to work weekends.
- Physical & Hands-On: Able to work physically and handle manual tasks.
- Positive Attitude: You’re resourceful, optimistic, and solutions-oriented.

What You Should Expect:
- Physical Work: Standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Repetitive Tasks: Unloading deliveries, stocking, and keeping your department organized and clean.
