Description
Summary
- Performs a variety of advanced functions related to deposits, electronic delivery systems and/or card services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares research, analyzes and summarizes information, calculates statistics and compiles data for specialized or recurring reports; investigating problems or error.
- Interprets guidelines, procedures, policies and best practices to determine the best approach for issues and non-routine situations, utilizing knowledge of specialized function. Investigate, and resolve member/staff inquiries making adjustments within established limits.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of applicable critical functions supported within department, serving as a primary resource to assist in discrepancies or procedural problem resolution for staff and members.
- Assists with cross-training of department staff and creation or revision of procedures/forms pertinent to area of responsibility.
- Keeps informed of industry standards, rules and regulations allowing for adequate knowledge to become a subject matter expert.
- Assists in updating and delivery of training materials within the Credit Union on department functions within areas of expertise.
- Participates in meetings, conferences, and management committees.
- Is responsible for adhering to operational controls, including compliance with all required regulations and policies such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to ensure the safety and soundness of the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union and its members.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma and 3 years of experience in financial services industry or experience in customer service or, equivalent experience.
- Associates degree preferred.
