We are currently seeking to hire a Staff Accountant in our Anaheim, CA office. We are a rapidly growing regional accounting firm with clients extending throughout the Western States, with a strong presence in the agriculture and construction industries. We are looking for individuals who are interested in long-range career growth and have the strategic ability to plan for their professional futures. Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with seniors, managers and/or partners on various projects
- Apply basic knowledge of business functions, processes and strategies
- Prepare financial statements with disclosures
- Prepare federal and state tax returns
- Develop self-learning and problem solving skills
- Involvement in marketing events/community service projects as appropriate
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational techniques
- Highly motivated
- Eager to learn
- Integrity and Confidentiality
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Preferred Position Qualifications:
- CPA candidate
- Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
