Job Title: Hospital Controller

Summary:

The Hospital Controller oversees financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and optimal resource management. This role involves supervising accounting processes, preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and providing strategic financial insights to hospital leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Manage accounting operations: payroll, billing, receivables, and payables.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare financial regulations.
• Oversee audits and maintain internal controls.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide strategic advice to optimize financial performance.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (Master’s or CPA preferred).
• Experience: 5-7 years in financial management, healthcare preferred.
• Skills: Expertise in healthcare finance, ERP systems, and data analysis; strong communication and leadership abilities.
